About The Ravelco

Ravelco Plug & Receptacle

We can't say it better than the Ravelco Manufacturer's website:

"The Ravelco (pronounced Ruh-vel-co) Anti-Theft Device is installed in an easily accessible place beneath, or flush-mounted in the dashboard of your vehicle. A removable 16 pin male plug (which when not in use connects to your key chain) makes all the electronic connections. A hidden armored steel cable protects the wires from the rear of the RAVELCO base on through to the engine compartment where all the connections are made and camouflaged. When the plug is removed from the RAVELCO, it is impossible to start the vehicle. There are more than 100,000 different combinations. NO MASTER PLUGS. An impossible obstacle for even the most persistent thief. No Bells or Whistles . . . Just Results!"

"No other anti-theft device comes close to the long-term continuous success of the RAVELCO. Since the Ravelco's debut in 1976, there has never been a reported incident in which a vehicle protected by properly installed and utilized Ravelco has ever been stolen! The Ravelco Anti-Theft Device is the ONLY product that can claim COMPLETE SUCCESS in preventing car theft! No other alarm system, anti-theft device or vehicle tracking system can make that claim. NOT ONE VEHICLE HAS EVER BEEN STOLEN BY DEFEATING A PROPERLY INSTALLED AND UTILIZED RAVELCO IN MORE THAN 4 DECADES!"

Why Install a Ravelco Anti-Theft Device?

Ravelco Plug & Receptacle
What is your most valuable asset? Besides your house, likely your vehicle! With many newer trucks & vans costing upwards of $60-80,000, owners are looking for the best, reliable, cost-effective way to protect them. Alarms just make noise. GPS locators usually only work after your vehicle is taken. Other modern "protection" systems require monthly or yearly service fees.

Experienced car thieves can break into a vehicle within 60 seconds (or less), and if they can start it, they have it. The Ravelco prevents the vehicle from starting, as well as protecting another circuit (typically fuel), a double line of defense. It's installed once (per vehicle), and you're set! Ravelco never has Monthly Fees, Subscriptions, or Additional Fees! A Ravelco can't protect the contents of your vehicle, but it does (when properly used) keep someone from taking it!

According to this 2022 KOB article, the 10 most stolen vehicles in Albuquerque are:

3) Ford (F150, F250, Ranger, F350, Focus) – 514 stolen
4) Kia (Optima, Forte, Soul, Sportage, Rio) – 394 stolen
5) Toyota (Camry, Corolla, Tacoma, RAV-4, Prius) – 259 stolen

10) Jeep (Wrangler, Cherokee, Grand Cherokee, Patriot, Liberty) – 106 stolen

And according to this article, these were the most stolen vehicles in America for 2023:

6) GMC Pickups
7) Toyota Corolla - 12,500 (2020 stat)
8) Dodge Pickups - 12,000 (2020 stat)

Even if your vehicle isn't listed, doesn't mean it can't be a target. Consider some of these questions:
* Have you ever left it unlocked just to run in for a few minutes?
* Have you ever left a new expensive purchase visible inside?>
* Have you ever parked it in a not-so-safe location?
* Do you ever visit Albuquerque? It was #2 in the United States for vehicle thefts, with over 6,000 stolen last year; that's an average of 16 a day!

* Even Las Cruces and El Paso average 400-500 stolen vehicles each year.
* Don't let your vehicle become a statistic.
* Don't make your insurance rates go up because your vehicle becomes a target!
* Most insurance companies offer discounts for having an anti-theft device installed, from 10% to 25%. (You will have to contact your agent to find out how much you can save.)
